This roadster is for the hobbyist with skills and discretionary time.
I HAVE SOME OF I have some of the first and none of the latter. Observe that I prefer a very strong sales disclosure. (Been on eBay for 20 years).
The very best of the year, there is a pano roof (glass) works nice ) and the factory AMG spoiler. The engine is very strong and will leave your shorts at the last stop sign! I have a video acceleration clip if you request it.
I would fear driving this car to its upper limits. I am relocating, - moving to Hawaii and not shipping this roadster.
Skills you should have, as this is a complex car.
I do not have a Mercedes Diagnostic control unit, but recommend one (about 0). Note parts are no more expensive than other cars, but having Mercedes Dealer Service can drive up costs significantly.
My history with the car:
Someone once had a girlfriend, and I am told he was motivated to vandalize the car. No conjectures here as to why.
I bought it from Liberty Insurance Company last year. The paint is keyed both sides, trunk and hood.
(it is blacked to reduce the poor appearance.) If you paint cars, terrific!
The start price is back from low used car value ,000 for your new paint job and seat repairs.
The seats were slashed.
See photos. I bought new wheels,(Factory correct, factory offset)
new continental tires, (correct for car) and replaced the transmission last fall. (Hear strong shifts on acceleration video). There is a replacement passenger seat cover in the sale.
The security system is fine, , but the dual batteries, (the accessory one in the truck) will discharge after a week.
(It is new – I leave it on a trickle charger)
The starting battery is original and works fine.
There is a keyless system, which works.
There is a starting button on the shifter which works , (as does the locking system when you approach the car ) if you have the key in your pocket, but not correctly if you start using the shift button and the car wlll shut off if you put it in gear.
This is no issue if you insert the key in the dash location.
The power top cycle is clean and fast. I bought this for drives to the ocean from my home for the day.

It is not driven to work.
Questions are welcome, shipping help this end, this is a terrific bargain for someone who can work with the issues.
I would image you could drive it from Oregon to Los Angeles, the oil was just changed, and the trans replaced last Fall,
and the rear end serviced. But this is a used car, and like a rowdy teenager, it is hitting the rancorous age of 18 ! As with most ads nothing is guaranteed, and no warranties are expressed nor implied.
